I find myself nostalgic for the present moment, which sounds funny because it’s happening in real time. I already feel like I am missing it because it’s all moving so fast and I’m so focused on work, kids, the algorithm (god it’s going to be the death of me lol) that sometimes I wonder if I’m even enjoying it. Does anyone else ever feel that way? Or do I just need to take a chill pill?

Speaking of chill though, I can finally feel the winds of fall rolling in here in the Southwest, thank goodness for that!! The summers always feel endless, but once the cooler weather hits, it’s pure magic. The way the light changes in the fall and the brisk morning air. I have lived a lot of places over the years and I still have to say there is truly no place like the desert here.

And the best evening of the year, Halloween, on Saturday no less! Tell me, if you have kids, what do you do? Are you a group costume type of family? Everyone follows their own personality? Parents just happy to get out the door without tears? Put your vote below! I, for one, LOVE to dress up, any excuse to get witchy, but with kids I keep it low maintenance and focus more on what they want to be. I actually just keep a good witch hat and a cape that I have now repurposed I think 3 years in a row?

Also a quick note— I am going to be at Evereve in Phoenix this Wednesday 10/28 from 5-7pm for a shopping party. Styling, light bites and 15% off your purchase! If you’re local, come say hi!

This week was all about jeans! First up, how to make a simple outfit more interesting. Jeans and a tee can either be the ultimate cool girl uniform or one of the sloppiest looks. It only takes a few small tweaks to make a big difference.
